Dr. Mansour

Dr. Mansour is currently an Assistant Professor at Western Kentucky University, he is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C) and a Member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (MRAIC), he has been teaching and researching in the areas of Architecture, Building Construction, and Sustainable Design since 1997. His focus is on Post Occupancy Evaluation of high-performance buildings.  Dr. Mansour has interdisciplinary background, he is an Architectural Engineer received his PhD in Environmental Design from University of Calgary. In addition to designing and managing several residential, commercial, and hospitality projects, he also spent three years as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Arizona. 

Dr. Martelli

Dr. Martelli is proud to be an Architectural Science (AS) instructor at Western Kentucky University. Dr. Martelli received an Educational Doctorate (EdD) in 2020. He has been teaching for six years, but has a versatile portfolio working in construction, engineering, and manufacturing. What Dr. Martelli enjoys most about teaching architecture is the passion for aesthetic design students express, as they develop their ability, creativity, knowledge, and technical skills in the AS program. It makes Dr. Martelli proud when his students advance within the workforce.

Dr. Orooji

Dr. Orooji is a Assistant Professor at Western Kentucky University. She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, (ASCE) a member of the American Association of Wind Engineers, (AAWE) and a member of the American Institute of Architects. (AIA) Her focus is in Multi - Hazard Resistant Construction, Sustainable Construction, Building Information Modeling, Hazard Risk & Loss assessment and Mitigation, and Hazard Mitigation Techniques. Dr. Orooji earned her doctorate in Engineering Science with a concentration in Construction Management in 2015.
